Appointments & Process

Walk-ins are always welcome during business hours. If you prefer a guaranteed time slot or have a large collection, booking an appointment ensures we can give you our full attention without any wait.

Most evaluations take 30–45 minutes depending on the number and type of items. Larger estates or extensive coin collections may take longer. We never rush — every piece deserves a thorough assessment.

Absolutely not. Our evaluations are completely free and carry zero obligation. We'll assess your items, explain our offer in detail, and you decide whether to accept. No pressure, ever.

Yes. We offer house calls throughout Monmouth and Ocean County for clients with large collections, mobility limitations, or those settling an estate. Contact us to schedule a convenient time.

We're open Monday through Saturday 10:00 AM – 6:00 PM and Sunday 10:00 AM – 4:00 PM. Holiday hours may vary — call ahead if you're visiting on a holiday.

ID & Legal Requirements

Yes. New Jersey law requires all sellers to present a valid government-issued photo ID at the time of sale. Acceptable forms include a driver's license, state ID, or passport. This protects both you and us.

If you're an executor or administrator of an estate, bring your letters testamentary or letters of administration along with your personal ID. We're experienced with estate sales and will guide you through the process.

Yes. We collect only the information required by New Jersey law and keep all records strictly confidential. Your information is never shared or sold to third parties.

Gold & Jewelry

We assess gold jewelry based on its karat (purity), weight, current spot price of gold, and any additional value from craftsmanship, gemstones, or designer signatures. We use calibrated scales and test every piece — we never guess.

Yes. Broken chains, bent rings, missing stones, and scrap gold all have value based on their metal content. Condition affects the price only when the piece has collectible or artistic value beyond the metal itself.

Gold-filled items contain a meaningful layer of gold and do have some value. Gold-plated items have very little gold content and are generally not purchased, though we'll always take a look and be upfront with you.

We buy all karats of gold — 10K, 14K, 18K, 22K, and 24K. Higher karat gold is worth more per gram. We'll test and weigh each piece and explain exactly how we calculated the offer.

Not at all. Original packaging and certificates can add value for certain pieces (especially watches and designer jewelry), but they are never required. We evaluate the item itself first and foremost.

Diamonds & Gemstones

Our evaluators are trained gemologists who assess diamonds using the 4 Cs — cut, clarity, color, and carat weight. We use professional loupes and lighting to grade each stone accurately and fairly.

Yes. We purchase loose diamonds of all shapes and sizes, from small accent stones to large center diamonds. GIA or AGS certificates are helpful but not required.

We buy rubies, sapphires, emeralds, and other precious gemstones, particularly when set in fine jewelry or accompanied by certification. We evaluate each stone on its own merits.

Watches & Luxury Items

Yes. A non-working watch still has significant value, especially for luxury brands like Rolex, Patek Philippe, or Omega. The movement can often be serviced, and the case and bracelet retain their metal value.

We buy all major luxury and vintage watch brands including Rolex, Patek Philippe, Audemars Piguet, Omega, Cartier, Breitling, TAG Heuer, IWC, Jaeger-LeCoultre, and more. We also buy vintage pocket watches and railroad watches.

We examine stitching, hardware, date codes, serial numbers, materials, and overall construction to authenticate designer handbags. We're familiar with the authentication markers for Hermès, Chanel, Louis Vuitton, Gucci, and other top brands.

Payment & Offers

We pay immediately upon acceptance of our offer — cash or check, your choice. There are no delays, no waiting periods, and no bank transfers to set up. You leave with payment in hand.

Yes. Our initial offer is based on a thorough evaluation, but we're always open to a conversation. If you have documentation, appraisals, or comparable sales data that support a higher value, we want to hear it.

You are never obligated to sell. If our offer doesn't meet your expectations, you're free to take your items and leave — no hard feelings, no fees, no pressure. We'd rather you feel good about the transaction.

Never. Evaluations are always 100% free, whether you sell or not. There are no appraisal fees, no consultation fees, and no hidden charges of any kind.
